Steve Jobs, aged 56, has died following a longtime battle with cancer.
Jobs resigned from his post as CEO of Apple in August 2011. He was counted among the best and most influential of American entrepreneurs. His death was announced by Apple late Wednesday evening.
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
-Steve Jobs [1955-2011]
You’ve got to admit, it’s a pretty brave to say to a judge “downloading all those illegal files worth $5 million is just art, Your Honor.”
Here are the details on the “5 Million Dollars 1 Terabyte” sculpture:
A new exhibit at the Art 404 gallery, 5 Million Dollars, 1 Terabyte, blurs the boundaries of between sculpture and skullduggery, conspicuously displaying a hard drive with $5 million of stolen property.
“5 Million Dollars 1 Terrabyte” (2011) is a sculpture consisting of a 1 TB Black External Hard Drive containing $5,000,000 worth of illegally downloaded files.
Sometimes, blogging software just isn’t enough and you’ve got to transition to some real CMS, where you can easily run polls, guest books, photo albums, forums, and much more, however the change can be challenging if you lack the technical understanding on setting up complex programs like Drupal.

Following in the footsteps of Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway has made her official debut as Catwoman in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. According to Slashfilm, though, the good people at Warner Bros. are being very careful not to actually call her Catwoman; even the official photo is labeled selina_kyle.jpg, not Catwoman.jpg, which is raising a few eyebrows. What do you think? Impressed? Unimpressed? Or is the general consensus that any Catwoman is better than Halle Berry’s Catwoman??
How to use
Just copy-paste symbols that you like into your status, comments, messages. You can’t put symbols into Facebook names due to recent change in Facebook.
It seems like some symbols can form “combos” (like in video games) =) and don’t work if you put them one after another. So if you see some of your symbols turning into squares after you have put some new symbol into the input field – that might be a problem. To solve it just press “Ctrl” + “Z” and don’t put these troublemaker symbols. Or put them in a first place.
Notice that there are some right-to-left written symbols here, and if you put them – characters you put after them may appear before them. Tricky ones ^.^
Funny thing about these symbols is that they are different in different fonts (like “Arial”, “Helvetica”, etc.). I noticed this when I’ve seen snowman and umbrella look different in Firefox and Chrome. They looked better in Firefox.
